Peace is "above" law vs law and laws vs grace divisions: sides wars. Psalms
57: 4 My soul [is] among
lions: [and] I lie [even among] them that are set on fire, [even] the
sons of men, whose teeth [are] spears and arrows, and their tongue a sharp sword. ............ set on fire of hell (James 3:6) Psalms 149: 6,7 [Let] the high [praises] of God [be] in their mouth, and a twoedged sword in their hand; To execute vengeance upon the heathen, [and] punishments upon the people. ............... ouch & ouch: vengeance & punishments Proverbs 5: 3,4 For the lips of a strange woman drop [as] an honeycomb, and her mouth [is] smoother than oil: But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a twoedged sword. ...... bitter as wormwood (Revelation 8:11) Isaiah 49:2 And he hath made my mouth like a sharp sword; in the shadow of his hand hath he hid me, and made me a polished shaft; in his quiver hath he hid me; .................... mouth of Isaiah: bites and smites like a sharp sword 2Corinthians 13:10 Therefore I write these things being absent, lest being present I should use sharpness, according to the power which the Lord hath given me to edification, and not to destruction. .......... sharpness is destructive Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God [is] quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and [is] a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Revelation 1:16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance [was] as the sun shineth in his strength. Revelation 2:12 And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges; Revelation 19:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. ...bites & smites Perhaps there is some connection between allegoric occurencs of double minded and a twoedged sword. Sharper (than any twoedged sword) edifies & exhorts &
comforts
Micah 7:4 The best of them [is] as a brier: the most upright [is sharper] than a thorn hedge: the day of thy watchmen [and] thy visitation cometh; now shall be their perplexity. Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God [is] quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and [is] a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Upbraid and Upbraided: Bites and Smites:
Unrisen and Risen
Judges 8:15 And he came unto the men of Succoth, and said, Behold Zebah and Zalmunna, with whom ye did upbraid me, saying, [Are] the hands of Zebah and Zalmunna now in thine hand, that we should give bread unto thy men [that are] weary? Matthew 11:20 Then began he to upbraid the cities wherein most of his mighty works were done, because they repented not: Mark 16:14 Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen. Upbraideth not: Neither Bites nor Smites
James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all [men] liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. If any of you lack wisdom, ask the God (the Grace) who: - giveth liberally (simply, openly, frankly, sincerely) - to all (all men, not just some, many, few) - and upbraideth not (neither bites nor smites) For a sharp twoedged sword coming out the mouth of the priestly figure in Revelation 1:16 notably bites (upbraids) all seven angels of seven churches, later also smites nations with this sharp sword. So let us not allow destructive law to be both beginning and ending, both Alpha and Omega, both first and last, both alpeh and tahv, lest destructive law prophecy bite and smite unto death. Rather let us have grace of law/grace, make a firm stand in grace, then also be seated with higher Grace; Since when get it: under-standing, stand in grace of law/grace, such can also be "stand in jeopardy". So let us rise above both sit/stand on high, to Christ sitteth above: higher than the heavens on high. Only then do we have the rest (peace) of God, instead of both unrest/rest of law/grace still division. The
grace
of our Lord Jesus
Christ with you all. Amen.
