What do you know about Thanksgiving USA besides it's traditionally Macy's Day parade, football on helevision, travel home, gluttony? Can you pass a Thanksgiving Quiz? Did you know Macy's Day is the day NBC uses it's real name? External links to historical thanksgiving traditions and a Thanksgiving Quiz are listed below. Our focus herein is get it: understanding, via a biblical look at "thanksgiving" in the Bible, at what it might be in the Book of Revelation. Sadly the majority of USA has Baby-lon twice fallen for GWB's "America is a nation under law" when the Bible says "ye are not under the law, but under grace"... "if led of the Spirit". In his second coming as POTUS, GWB stated he'd take his rod of iron "rule of law" global. The Bible also speaks to such: "whether prophecies, they shall fail". It seems so awful lawful lately that many now perceive USA is twice fallen Babylon (the great) "is fallen, is fallen" in Isaiah 21:9; Revelation 14:8; Revelation 18:2. We wish them all grace -> mercy -> peace. Thanksgiving in the Bible
The word "thanksgiving"
is
used often in the
Bible: about 28 times, two of which are pluralized. The last biblical
mention of
"thanksgiving" is a Revelation Seven, and "thanksgiving"
thereof is in the midst of seven things,
sandwiched between two
Amens in Revelation 7:12:
Saying Amen:
1.
Blessing
2.
glory
3.
wisdom
4. thanksgiving
5.
honour
6.
power
7.
might
unto
our God for ever and ever. Amen.
The
first "Amen" thereof seems to be unto the opening of six seals. The
opening of the sixth thereof is followed by a great earthquake, the sun
being sackcloth of hair blackened, moon becoming as blood, stars of
heaven falling to earth as if untimely figs cast down by a fig tree
shaken of a mighty wind, heaven departing as a scroll rolled together,
every mountain and island moved out of their places, kings and all
sorts of men of earth (including every bondman and free man) hiding
themselves in dens and in rocks of mountains, saying to the mountains
and rocks: Fall on us, hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the
throne, and from the wrath
of the (slain) Lamb: For the great day of
his wrath
is come;
and who shall be able to stand? ...
...
Not a pretty picture, but perhaps a revelatory allegoric picture of
what might come upon all if law
worketh wrath
is not
allowed to be dead
testator of the New Testament, in order to establish grace,
to
let grace be of "force" to all (Heb 9), and be
merciful to all, thereby
peace
unto all. Three wishes of Bible Translators
were grace mercy
peace (not law sacrifice wrath) in
their Epistle
Dedicatory.
Such wished for grace mercy peace by Translators of the Bible is also
notably "through Jesus-->Christ", as if going through the
cross (to drop off law the enmity). For Christ thereof Jesus Christ,
in which that
God was in, reconciling
the world unto himself, is
"the end of the law" (thereby in him there is no sin), bringing
an end to law worketh wrath,
for law notably had an expiry
date. Law was only part one (the child-ish part of child/man) of
the
two part (old/new testament) shew
about a third part of the stars of heaven being drawn away (to
plural divided heavens) and then cast down (to earth)... and as if
twice fallen as Baby-lon "is
fallen is fallen" from heaven (higher than the
heavens) to
heavens, then from heavens (higher than the earth) to earth, and
notably by the tail of a dragon... in "which things are an allegory" (Galatians
4:24),
and were written "aforetime" for our "learning"
(Rom 15:4).
The
blessing, the first of seven things
in Revelation 7:12,
seems to also be the last of seven things mentioned in Revelation
5:12,
and is thereby firstly said with a loud (law) voice by many angels and
beasts and elders round about the throne (obviously not a throne of
grace), and all "them"
numbering
ten thousand times ten thousand plus thousands of thousands:
1.
power
2.
riches
3.
wisdom
4. strength
... (perhaps the strength of sin: which is law,
worketh wrath)
5.
honour
6.
glory
And
what if the strength
mentioned in the midst
of such Lamb-ish seven
(reportedly to be as one with such Godly seven) is law: the
strength of sin: 1Cor 15:56, which is notably a
"sting" witch brings forth death (to all) when "it is finished" (John
19... James 1:15). It? What if "it" of "it is
finished" be Law: sin & death to all, bondman and free man,
wrath thereof law worketh wrath coming upon the unjust and just by a
false law God, also
has no respect of persons? Let's play what if. What
if "it is finished"
be the last, the seventh, of seven last utterances?
For
if the last of seven things concerning a "slain"
Lamb, if such "sacrifice" (even if it's the better of good/better
sacrifices), which sacrifice is "of the law" (Heb 10)... if the
last of such be also the first of seven things
concerning our God, such law blessing, such merciless law, such unpardonable
sin, well such
could perhaps be the law (imputing sin & death) sort of blessing of
twain
blesseds,
which is a sin conscious blessed requiring a cover up, like a diaper
covers up
"dung", but which when uncovered as by revelation, such grace + law
brings forth life +
death, death and
hell to pay via such Mosaic law worketh wrath, even great wrath, upon
all
men, even upon
bondman and free man. For Jude 5 makes it no secret both saved +
destroyed afterward came upon them saved out of Egypt, the afterward part
being law of grace + law.
... perhaps such would be as twice fallen as Babylon "is fallen is fallen" in Revelation; firstly fallen from heaven to heavens (by a bwd right to left menorah seven as Gen 1:1), and then fallen from plural heavens to earth. For heaven is said to be "higher than the heavens", and heavens are said to be "higher than the earth"; And David is not ascended to the heavens (Acts 2:34). But Christ is ascended "higher than the heavens" (Heb 7:26). Babylon the "great" is notably twice fallen bwd to "great" of great<--greater<--greatest; With fwd being return to "greatest" of great->greater->greatest. For only greatest of three things never fails. Perhaps
it's best of all
this/that and for all of some/all to "let there be light"
(only),
understanding (only), let the first of twain
"finished"s in a "verily verily" gospel "according" to St John be
the "finished" work of His grace and truth: "I will have mercy,
and not sacrifice", which meaneth I will have
grace, and not law; The "not" part being not then, not now, not ever.
For God never desired sacrifice for sin nor ever took pleasure in it.
So the first
finished work abolishes the second of twain "finished"s, which
when "it is finished" is
any given place it brings forth death: James 1:15, followed by hell to
pay:
Revelation 6:8, great
wrath upon all men, both bondman and free man. For
law = sin by
Rom 14:23 and Gal 3:12; And sin(law) when it is
finished brings forth
death: 1Cor 15:56, the dead end of law: sin & death, via grace +
law.
So
only pure grace void of law would truly be a Happy Thanksgiving
(peace-able
...
non-hypocritical as noted about pure wisdom from above in James 3:17). Hence
the end of Pauline
Epistles (including Revelation) have an alls well
that ends well ending, via "his
angel"
plays the "last
trump"
it, in a revelatory God shew and final shewdown such as
Revelation, where the last "Amen" goes only to his grace, only to that
of all this/that, as being what is:
best for you all of
good
better
best, and notably because it has no mention of law at
all:
The grace of our Lord Jesus
Christ with
you all. Amen.
