Global Assembling: Hebrews 10:25"The Assembling of Ourselves Together"More likely the global assembling of "we all are one"than the assembling of some in mega church buildings; As is notably "the manner of some": "the some-what"?
...And let us
consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves
together, as the manner of some [is]; but exhorting
[one another]: and so
much the more, as ye see the day [of God] approaching. For
if we sin willfully... fearful... judgment
As religious & political "ministers of Satan(Law)", disguised as ministers of righteousness (2Cor 11:15), have used Bible verses out of context to milk cash cows and fleece dumb sheep for Troll Toll tithes and unfair taxes, many use Hebrews 10:25 to get their mega church attendance and offerings up. Hebrews 10:25 has oft been taken out of context by evangelastic radio, television, and internet Bible teachers laying a guilt trip of sin consciousness on people to attend their mega church buildings some-what assemblies. I say if it's crap, flush it! My opinion about such like, after 50,000 hrs Bible study, is in 2Tim 3:5 "from such turn away". And if $uch like on TV wanna rapture (vanish), as Jack (John) of the "Impe" family has been wanting to for 50 yrs, then please help them to vanish. Use your remote: click! Poof goes the dragon. Button Button, who's got the button? You do. Use the button on your remote, ballot machine, phone, cmpt, etc. Use it "or" lose it! Use it to change "this" to "that", this Horeb-bull mtn (Sinai) of war, to that Grace-us mtn (Sion) of peace. For the allegoric script-u-are saith: "cast out the woman and her son (cast out the law and the result of law: sin and death). The obvious benefit, if "law worketh wrath" and "fear hath torment", is no more wrath nor torment. The law (and the surely die lie) was given by Moses, But grace and truth(law = lie) came by Jesus Christ. Heb 10:9 says "he taketh away the first, that he might establish the second" Law: press delete to take away (only what was "added" can be taken away) Grace: press save to establish (the 2nd Adam, hope, love... is a "better" one) Before presuming anything about what assembling of ourselves together means, I'd look at the theme, context, conclusion of the book of Hebrews, a mini bible itself, also a good better best chat. I'd also look at the same things for Heb 10. I'd thereby note Heb 10 starts off revealing imperfect shadowy lying law can NEVER make comers thereunto perfect. And because "be ye perfect" (Mt 5:48) as God, is "also merciful" (Lk 6:36), which law isn't (Heb 10:1,28). Rather law is faulty, so "old" (expired) it's both ready to, and shall "vanish" (Heb 8; 1Cor 13). Talk about a mission impossible. Law demands perfection (only condition of Abrahamic covenant was perfection), but can never make comers thereunto perfect. On the contrary grace is a mission possible. It demands nothing except purity of grace, and thereby everyone made as perfect as the God of all grace. It then reveals once purged of sin there should be no more sin consciousness; but legalistic sacrifice and offerings "for sin" promote sin consciousness: Oops! It reveals God never had pleasure in sacrifice and offerings for sin (Ps 40:6), which are "of the law". It also reveals that JC is come to do the will of God, notably the will by which we are sanctified (purged of sin), and such is done by taking away law (law imputes sin: Rom 5:13) in order to establish grace. After another reminder: "where remission of these (sins and iniquities), no more offering for sin", there's 3 (of a dozen such in Heb) "let us" exhortations: (i) "Let us" draw near (the throne of grace: Heb 4:16) with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil (law) conscience (ii) "Let us" hold fast the profession of faith (grace is sufficient) without wavering (iii) "Let us" consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some ... The manner of some? Obviously some, the some only folk who haven't heard "there is no respect of persons with God", the "some-what"(?) that Paul calls "I know not what", assemble at festivals, sin-agogues, and mega churches, imputing sin for the hell of it, and then demand sacrifice and offerings for sin. Two notable religious & political ministers fitting the description in 2Cor 11:15 wanting sacrifice to their law God: John-Paul II and George Bush II, are quoted as saying: "the l-o-n-g tradition of sacrifice must continue in the third millennium" (Pope: 1999), and "there will be sacrifice" (US Pres: at 911). Since global sorrows dramatically increased after, it's evident both meant vengeance. Awareness (understanding thereof)
makes the hopeless
hopeful
In
the hopeful realm, resistance isn't futile, but rather effectual
Remember
that "Revelation"
(Uncovering, Disclosing, Revealing)
is not for accusation (Jn 5:45) nor condemnation (Jn 3:17) to any; for a legalistic blame game only inducts all into the hall of shame. The conclusion of Heb 10 reveals them sort of folk "draw back" to "perdition": destruction back-firing on them (2Th 5:3) saying Peace & Safety (Grace & Law); but it gives the revelator, who also wrote Gal 3:11; 2Thes 5:3, "no pleasure"! Neither do I take any pleasure in watching such law law nor attending funerals of Dah folk who condemn (Mt 12:37) and accurse (Gal 1:9) themselves with their grace + law = blessed + cursed = accursed. My Bible says the deadliest WMD (Rom 6:23; 1Cor 15:56) is the viper tongue of twofold "more the child of hell" proselyted by those who sit in Moses' seat: Law (Mt 23:all). It also says the God of all: grace is onefold: evidently all "us" if God is one, of us, with us, for us, hath given us the victory, and the Lord is long-suffering to us-ward. As for the conclusion of Hebrews, it notably defines the "perfection" Paul said we should go on to (Heb 6: by leaving plural "principles", not sound doctrine), as: "Grace with you all. Amen."... which is much similar to the conclusion of the Holy Bible (not Holy Holy Bible) containing Old and New Testaments: "The grace (allegorically the C of JC) of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen". My personal insight on assembling of ourselves together,
not
forsaking
such,
is remember the basic things about the assembling of ourselves: we all are one
The grace
of our Lord Jesus
Christ with you
all. Amen.
