Grace unto you, and
peace,
from God our (merciful) Father and the Lord Jesus Christ The Good Old Days Are Behind You in such bwd/fwd all die/live directions (bwd) them-ward <= ? => us-ward (fwd) Grace Walk is a fwd walk, with no looking back at all. Fwd ho to "us-ward", "you-ward", and "God-ward". (Lot's wife looked back, John turned back: 'fell as dead') Many
talk of the good old days, and such talk is always of looking back
(bwd). Whereas biblical exhortation is to look ahead (fwd). Of
them-ward and us-ward, directions the exhortation is "us-ward"; For
converted Peter tells us the Lord is longsuffering unto us-ward (2Peter 3) of
twain them/us directions, not unto them-ward nor even unto any
oxymoronic mixture of the twain. God is always one of us, with us, for
us, hath given us the victory, hath not appointed us unto wrath(law).
Converted Peter also tells us which day of twain last days we should all be looking for and hasting unto of twain: day of the Lord vs day of God. Of ye-ward and you-ward directions Paul's exhortation is "you-ward"of ye/you; For as JC said God said: "ye do err", and brother James notes it is alway; So it is written, and notably about both ye/you: "ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free" of such created/made things in the God shew where such things are an allegory. Looking back is biblically errant. Lot's wife looked back, and turned to a pillar of salt (which Paul satirically says about James, Peter, and John who "seemed to be pillars"). Converted Peter later talks about Pauline epistles and also notes looking or turning back to law is like a dog returned to it's vomit, or a sow to it's mire after beging washed. Of twain: hopelessness is back, hopefulness is ahead. Of twain: merciless is back, merciful is ahead. Of twain testaments, the old is back (first), the new is ahead (second), and he taketh the first that he may establish the second. Of good/better things, the good is back, the better is ahead. It's quite allegoric, but the moral is to look fwd, not bwd. We only look both bwd and fwd when comparing the twain, in probate mode, probe which is witch of twain, to make y(our) decision, and the best decision we can all make is to flush everything behind us (bwd). Even those having got it right of left/right should be looking ahead to what's best of three things: good better best for all, instead of what's only good/better for some. Same applies for great greater greatest, safe safer safest, holy holier holiest. It is bwd looking folly to say we are safer now, but not yet safe. The best (safest) is yet to come, and all else is behind you, even if it's better, greater, safer, holier. The grace walk from Mt Sinai to Mt Sion is fwd ho we all go to where God & Son are of two allegoric mountains: Mt Sinai (law) and Mt Sion (grace). For on Horeb-bull Mt Sinai it's seven things we ought not look back to, whereas on Mt Sion it's seven things we ought to look forward to; Not to mention they are portrayed as "not come" and "come" in Hebrews 12. Also not to mention those under the law at Mt Sinai (Horeb) are recorded as having well said the law should not be spoken to them again: Deut 5:25; 18:16; Heb 12:19, since such merciless Mosaic law was sow accusation-all and condemnation-all. And such is why those hearing Mosaic law read in Ezra did so with heads bowed to the ground weeping, and such dblemindead folk did also say a dble "Amen, Amen" to such grace + law; as did the woman(church) to being both blessed + cursed by her priest in Numbers. Such blessed + cursed = "accursed" is behind us. What's ahead is blessed only, and the second and better sort of twain blesseds via pure grace, and mercy that is merciful, and love that is perfect love, also true and lasting peace of war/peace. So no matter how good many may say the good old days are, such old is faulty, and imperfect of imperfect/perfect things past/ahead, and such impure/pure relgions. Rather than turn back to the good old days, as many preachers and teachers say, let us go on unto perfection, by leaving such left/right "principles" of such sides war, rising above such twainy (childish) this/that to all that and no this at all, all right and no left (behind) at all, all grace and no law at all, all live and none perish in the end. Peace unto you, from a false Christ is not true nor lasting peace, but also false peace of them who also say Peace & Safety (Grace & Law: safety in Law) in 1Thes 5:3, which is notably followed by sudden destruction coming upon them all. For as it is written, when the Son of man is revealed, well then it's destruction (not salvation) for them all: Luke 17:27,29,30. Selah. True and lasting peace is via His grace and truth: "he is our peace" who hath abolished the law of commandments. The head of the body may look from side to side, but of bwd/fwd looks only ahead, with all five senses also being in the head region, to discern if something looks fishy, smells pewy, sounds like Horeb-bull, tastes bitter-sweet, and feels like hell when swallowed, then it's probably just good old Lawed-Grace trying to tempt you to look back. For when walking in the Spirit, such law and law<=law is behind you. It may call, loud-ly with a great voice, as of a trumpet; But what's just ahead is the last trump it, which is played by his angel of one and another angels in Revelation where John is satired as Johnny Law for John turned back, to what was calling from "behind"; and being sow (2Pet 2:22) turned to like unto the Son of man in the midst of such Menorah seven, he "fell", as "dead", not to mention what followed was destructive to the point of extinction of the third of the stars of heaven which twice fell from heaven like Babylon is notably twice fallen: "is fallen, is fallen": 1) got drawn away from heaven, 2) then got cast down to earth in Revelation 12. How shall we escape such destruction, if we do not give more earnest heed to what's been said (theme of Heb 2); and what's been said, especially unto the churches, is stop looking back, and look ahead to what's best for all, so none perish by such (pure) grace (having no mention of law at all) at the end of the shew. The "grace"
of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.
