Seven Spirits? Seven Spirits of Revelation? The "seven Spirits" of Revelation are mentioned four times therein, like four horses are mentioned; And perhaps as the rider on the last of four Daniel night mares is named: "death", the fourth mention of "seven spirits" in Revelation also has mention of a Lamb "slain".

Now many might say good, the Lamb was slain (killed, slaughtered, butchered) for our ransom. But I say perhaps they haven't read, or perhaps they didn't comprehend, "if one died for all, then were all dead" (extinction). So pure religion paid a "visit", not a ransom; for ransom gives place to extortion, whereas exhortation gives place to up lifting and to understanding. Not to mention the will of God JC came to do (Lo, I come to do thy will O God; thy will be done, on earth as in heaven; not my will but thy will be done) was: "I will have mercy, and not sacrifice" (Ps 40:7; Hos 6:6; Mt 9:13; etc), which is all mercy and no sacrifice at all, not sacrifice + mercy, for such would be an oxymoron. Contrary things cannot coexist in peace. He is our peace, who hath abolished the law (thereby sacrifice, which is notably "of the law").

Let's look at the "seven spirits" in Revelation notably mentioned four times:

I. Rev 1:4 "
John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his throne"
II. Rev 3:1 "And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars;"
III. Rev 4:5 "And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and  seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God."
IV. Rev 5:6 "And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth."

Allegory clues about the seven Spirits:
- they are before his (him which is, and was, and is to come) throne
- they belong to he (like unto Son of Man) who saith things (plural) to angels (stars)
- they are seven Spirits(plural) of God
- they are seven lamps of fire before the throne
- they are seven horns of a slain lamb
- they are seven eyes of a slain lamb

Clues are given about "seven Spirits" of LAW God (alias LORD God); For when it comes to Grace God, to the King (of Kings), the Lord (of Lords), the Holy (of Holies), to "God [is] a Spirit"(one), to being joined unto the Lord, to unity, etc, there is but "one Spirit": 1Cor 6:17; 1Cor 12:13; Eph 2:18; Eph 4:4; Phil 1:2. And no compromise is made with Law, neither with law law. Rather law is "abolished": Eph 2 to the point of "blotting out" such ordinances: Col 2. For clarity, every Mosiac law written in stone and ink is to be "done away": 2Cor 3, and to the point of what's old and faulty, even ready to vanish: Heb 8, shall vanish: 1Cor 13. For "God [is] a Spirit" (not Spirits), the sort which cannot lie nor die; can't even be tempted, so of foolish/wise, only the wise sort, and of earthy/heavenly wisdoms the heavenly sort. Of this/that "the Lord" is now(of then/now) "that Spirit", one Spirit having many aspects (names).  So of law/grace compared as lie/truth in Jn 1:17, the Spirit of grace is also the Spirit of truth in such things are an allegory, also a mystery.

Clues: Seven lamps takes us to Exodus where Moses did light seven lamps of fire before the LORD and his brother Aaron did the maintenance. Seven horns takes us to Joshua 6 and Jericho walls falling flat, where seven priests did blow seven (trumpeting ram's) horns. Seven eyes takes us to Zachariah 3 where upon one stone seven eyes. And he like unto the Son of man takes us to Ezekiel (where Son of man is pretty much against everyone), and Mt 25 (where Son of man is divisional), and Lk 17 (where Son of man is destructive), and even to the Sabbath (Son of Man is also Lord of the Sabbath). And Lamb slain takes us to Rev 13 and the foundation of the world.

First mention of seven spirits collectively in the Bible is in Isaiah 11:2 which begins with the spirit of the LORD and ends with spirit of "fear" of the LORD; a bad ending since fear hath torment. And such fear, which is of the LORD, is only the "beginning" of knowledge and wisdom (not the end of such). And when it comes to God is love, fear is cast out, by casting out the source of fear, which is the LORD, which is Adam in Gen 4:1; For as in Adam all die. But law is the ministration of death, so the real source of fear, of death, is law.

Such brings us to seven (other) spirits, mentioned as being "more wicked" in Mt 12:45 and Lk 11:26. For if the unclean spirit, say the spirit of fear (of death) is cast out of a body, but not the source of death: law (law is the source and strength of sin, which has a deadly sting: 1Cor 15:56), then such sin consciousness (knowledge of sin is by the law) not purged gives place to the unclean spirit returning, along with seven other spirits more wicked. Perhaps such is the reason fear is said to be epidemic among man kind.

Such latter state being worse happens when a body cleansed, demonic fear cast out, but the body is not purged of sin (as pertaining to the conscience) which law and sacrifices cannot do (cannot purge the conscience of sin), as told us in Hebrews 9 & 10, which also speaks of taking away the first: law, in order to establish the second: grace; for until the testator of the second is dead, it hath no force... kinda like a will stuck in probate.

Such is the case of law law in Romans 8:2, where the second of such beasts gives place to the first, kinda like more the child of hell gives place to the child of hell in Mt 23; and then the state of man is worse, not better. For the better sort of two laws is in "Christ Jesus", the reverse of "Jesus Christ"; which is as bwd law<=law, which gives place to "the law of sin and death", not to mention place to Rule of Law: "Law worketh Wrath". But "God hath not appointed us unto (law worketh) wrath": 1Thessalonians 5:9.

Rule of Law? Law worketh Wrath!
Law (Wrath) is Destructive;  Not Constructive!

As evidence, we've seen the result of a bwd safe<-safer talk of G.W. Bush, and of such imposition of his 'rule of law' in diverse places. In S.E. Asia, a rule of law tsunami came as a BIG WAVE from LAW worketh WRATH, and due to 'rule of law' being imposed, poured upon 'terror of law', even by 'pre-emptive' war spawned by lies for vengeance's sake (not for Christ's sake God hath forgiven you)... As evidence following these anti-Christ statements of POTUS and POPE: "there shall be sacrifice" (Quote: President G.W. Bush II: 9/11), and "the long tradition of sacrifice must continue in the third millennium" (Quote: Pope John Paul II: 1999). There's been plenty of law worketh wrath since, even hurricanes x 4 in Florida, typhoons x 4 in Japan, etc; not only costly in money, but in lives. It's as if the most powerful man in the world has become "more the child of hell", more wicked, more the fool, more the hypocrite, more the viper, more the blind guide, guiding many to an unnecessary war and to the destruction of his 'rule of law', another law witch has a latter end worse.

Clarity: such is not said to accuse (Jn 5:45) or condemn (Jn 3:17) any, but rather only to bring awareness and understanding to "we all are one". Our goal is not to play the blame game, but rather to play the awareness game.

Lesson: There is no safety in merciless law worketh wrath, nor any escape to them who say Peace & Safety (Grace & Law): 1Thess 5:3.

Moral: His grace does not compromise with law, not with either of two laws in Romans 8:2. Rather when it comes to law, itl gets "abolished" as the "enmity": Eph 2, and to the POINT of "blotting out" all Mosaic "ordinances": Col 2. Every Mosaic law, whether written in stone or ink is to be "done away": 2Cor 3, to the POINT of what's old, faulty, and "ready to vanish": Heb 8, "shall vanish": 1Cor 13. There is ample evidence for such in every Pauline epistle, for they all conclude with no mention of law at all, as does Revelation:

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.
