Unto the angel of the church of Thyatira

Unto the angel of the church in Thyatira

Revelation 2:18 "And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet [are] like fine brass; "

The angel of the church "in" Thyatira... perhaps Gaius (hint in next verse)

Now we have "like unto the Son of man" calling himself "the Son of God" (difference?); but not being merciful as the Son of God would be if one with God who is merciful. Very subtle. For it says the Son of God who hath eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet like fine brass. Such could describe the "supposed" son of Joseph in Lk 3:23-38, the geneology thereof ending with "Adam" (them) "which was [the son ] of God". But the God Adam is of is a plural and divisional God: Elohyim; Whereas the God JC is of is one, and JC is one with that God. And we're talking was, not is, trying to masquerade as an is (a beast which was and is not). Again it's law trying to masquerade as grace. We'll soon see such is not merciful, but merciless.

The use of the word "like", which is used oft in Revelation (no less than 25 times), denotes allegory. His feet aren't brass, rather "like" fine brass. His eyes aren't flames, rather "like unto". We would say the same 'allegoric' thing about the scorn of a woman, in describing her eyes; the eye being the window of the soul, to see in the eye what is in the inner person.

Revelation 2:19 "I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last [to be] more than the first. "

Works (plural) allegorically denotes grace + law, sometimes good works, but mostly works "of the law", which Paul uses often in his epistles. The mention of "works" twice, and the last "works" more than the first "works", is certainly not a compliment, but rather suggests they are being more the child of hell(law), and after such "charity and service and faith", which is also reversed order denoting a bwd trend, like an adult made proselyte, thereby more the "child".

Mention of I know 'thy charity' suggests the angel of the church in Thyatira could be Gaius, since John only uses the word "charity" twice, here and in 3John where he writes to Gauis. And Gaius was one of the seven who accompanied Paul into Asia. Charity is first used by Paul, who is the major clarifier of biblical charity (see seven web page study on charity). As for John writing to Gaius separately in 3John, it seems to be flattery to corrupt, also diminishes Paul; For John notes Demetrius spoke a good report when he spoke out against Paul in Acts, and John notes he and the elders (apostles) think likewise (but as law dogs returned to their own vomit, as converted Peter later shares). As for Gaius having charity, John takes the glory.

Revelation 2:20 "Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols. "

Here comes the accusation (law: accuser of the brethren), and condemnation (Rom 8:1) of law; which is not a Godly trait of grace and truth which came by JC: Jn 1;17. Son of God grace neither accuses nor condemns: Jn 3:17; 5:45, but does tell the truth about the law, and so all men may be aware of such sin imputing death sting: 1Cor 15:56,  thereby be made free of such ministration of death: 2Cor 3:7. Law is against us: Col 2:14, grace with us: Rev 22:21. The Son of man is division-all, vengeful, merciless. The Son of God is unifying and merciful. So the one saying he's Son of God herein is not, for there is only one, the only begotten of God, just as there is one God, the only Potentate, whom the Son of God did shew us in his times.

Reference to Jezebel  goes back to 1Kings 16; But also to Lydia (of Thyatira) in  Acts 16, who attended unto the things spoken by Paul, like grace, mercy, peace rather than law, vengeance, and war. So again, we find John subtly speaking against Paul, as he does in 3Jn by mentioning Demetrius spoke well (in Acts) when he spoke against Paul, and in Rev 2:9 by suggesting Paul is no Jew, but the synagogue of Satan. As such, we find Paul revealing John as a dog, which converted Peter clarifies is someone returned to his vomit (law) in 2Pet 2:22.

Revelation 2:21 "And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not. "

As far as John is concerned it's fornication to add grace to law, just as with Paul it's fornication to add law to grace. John is herein referring to Lydia of Acts 16, for Jezebel died long ago. Yet he is making himself to be law, trying to put fear upon those of Thyatira for being grace us.

Revelation 2:22 "Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds. "

Law considers it adultery to have anything to do with grace, just the same as it is spiritual adultery for those who say they are espoused to His grace and then found whoring with law. Law threatens great tribulation for Lydia and also all them that are converted by her teaching. So we see that a lot of things in Revelation refer to things in Acts. But Acts is not the fulfillment of Revelation as some now teach, for Revelation takes place on the Sabbath, as a Sabbath shewdown of everything twain including Son of man (Lord also of the Sabbath) vs Son of God and Holy Ghost vs Holy Spirit, and this gospel vs that gospel, as if lie(law) vs truth(grace), prior to the real Sabbath, which is the day of God, an eternal day of grace mercy peace.

Revelation 2:23 "And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works. "

I will kill? I will kill children? Yep, it's law, breaching law: thou shalt not kill, for when uncovered law is a ministration of death. Law will certainly give unto everyone, according to works(plural), the death sentence. There is no partiality with a law God any more than there is respect of persons with the God of all grace. It's life, or death, for all. Yet law tends to ensnare folk with partialtiy talk, let em think they'll be spared, use em and abuse em, and then kill em.

Revelation 2:24 "But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden. "

This is the same crap Paul heard from James concerning Gentiles in Acts: none other burden on them than a little one, knowing a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump. It's also why Herod had James killed, and it pleased the Jews; for James would let neither Jews nor Gentiles be free of law. Peter wasn't much better, playing both sides against the middle till converted. John never got fully converted, turned back to law, becoming worse as seen above, very vengeful.

Revelation 2:25 "But that which ye have [already] hold fast till I come. "

Here we have law telling folk to hold on, for law's gonna be the second coming. NOT! The second coming is come already, and such is grace and truth, not more law and lie.

Revelation 2:26 "And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: "

What is there to overcome if law is already abolished? Christ: the end of the law, has already overcome. It's a finished work.. Our only job is to become aware of it and act accordingly. Law always speaks of works(plural), which is allegoric for grace + law.

Will I? Likely not, for law is bwd, grace is fwd, law saying  will I, grace saying I will. We can be assured which is witch, which is believeable, by what each says. Power is gospel in Rom 1, so power over the nations is simply gospel over the nations, and we've had such already, and it only produced sorrows, a global such gospel producing global sorrows, which hath an end. On the contrary grace, which is, and is sufficient, is also eternal, so it hath no end. Only what began can end. Grace "is" never began, but did bring an end to law when it came via JC.

Revelation 2:27 "And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father. "

Rod of Iron? Rod of Iron rule is not merciful. Such breaking, crushing, stomping, killing, etc, is merciless, not merciful. It's law (worketh wrath), not grace (worketh pleasure). It's Son of man destruction (Lk 17:27,29,30), not Son of God salvation. It's unGodly sacrifice and bloodshed, not Godly mercy whereby none perish. It's war, not peace. It's fear mongering, not love one another. It's bwd to them-ward law<=law, not fwd to us-ward, you-ward, God-ward. It's worse, not better of worst <= worse <= bad <= BC/AD => good => better => best.

He shall rule them? He? Them? Them folk (Adamic folk, since Adam = them in Gen 5:2) oughta read Lk 17:27,29,30 to see the Son of man destroys "them" all in such them vs them; Not to mention 1Thessalonians 5:3 where sudden "destruction" cometh upon "them" who say Peace & Safety (Grace & Law), them who think there's safety in law. Safety in law worketh wrath? Not! The big WAVE which endead 2004 proves there's no safety in wrath for anyone. It was a big WAVE from LAW worketh wrath, because sow many got law<=law (Mt 12:45; Mt 23:15; 2Pet 2:20; Rev 13). Many got duped by an earthy "great" awakening, when JC spoke of himself as "greater" of twain prophets and kings when comparing in Mt 12:41,42.

Revelation 2:28 "And I will give him the morning star. "

The morning star. Some might think of the sun as the morning star; but there are two planets called morning star: Mercury & Venus (visible at a solar eclipse), and they rotate opposite. The sun doesn't rise, but is constant. It is simply the earth rotating which makes it seem to rise. Now on Mercury & Venus, both called morning star, sunrise is east for one, west for another. In like manner, Son of man and Son of God are opposite, with law for one, grace for another. We need to remember God did NOT send his Son to condemn(law) the world, but that through him the world might be saved. It's the difference between destruction and salvation, extinction and existence, not be and be. For clarity Jesus is the bright and morning star.

Revelation 2:29 "He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. "

Seven times the exhortation to h-ear what(?) the Spirit saith unto the churches is repeated. The exhortation speaks of one ear, of twain, and it's exhorted "unto the churches". The only book written "unto the churches" is Galatians, where it reveals "the law is not of faith", such things are an allegory; And law was a "schoolmaster" (witch failed every student: Rom 9:31) to bring us unto Christ: "the end of the law". To wit, that God was in Christ reconciling the world. (2Cor 5:19)
