Hebrews - Chapter 8

Grace unto you, and peace,
from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ

General Theme of Hebrews 8:
Faulty Law is "Old" (of Old/New Law/Grace) and "Ready To Vanish"

Heb 8 is notably "sum" of Heb 1-7, what's evident so far from the evidence.
Of divided (plural) "heavens" law is not what's right in such upper left/right.
Law is faulty, "old" of old/new: waxeth sow old it's "ready to vanish away".
(Compare Heb 8:13 to 1Cor 13:8; law is ready to vanish, and shall vanish)

Hebrews chp 8 begins with notification things spoken in Heb 1-7 are being summed up, as to what's evident so far from the evidence given. Said "sum" speaks of the Majesty of "heavens"(plural), law being not right, nor new, but old and left (behind) to go on to perfection of such imperfection by dropping off impish and childish law from His grace to have pure grace is peaceable.

Heb 8 ends concluding faulty law waxeth old, is "ready to vanish". So going on unto perfection, from Heb 6:1 to 13:25, involves let law vanish, for it says in 1Cor 13:8 it "shall vanish" (or allegorically as if "nothing" at all in comparison to grace: 2Cor 3; just as the moon fades to nothing at coming of the sun)
.............................................................

Hebrews 8:1 Now of the things which we have spoken [this is] the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;

Notably the summation so far, in a progressive grace walk from imperfection to perfection, still speaks of plural "heavens", so not the latter (eternal) reign of God in heaven but former reign of God's "right" hand man in a non-eternal time of heavens, the "made" perfect man, the Christ of Jesus Christ, Christ: the end of the law, who is our high priest and notably the author(only) of eternal salvation: the prototype of what to be: merciful. He is also notably "set" ("seated" in Colossians 3), denoting decissively having rightly divided the word of truth (about law/grace) to all right (fwd) and no left (behind) at all, which is as all grace and no law at all, which is whereby all live and none perish.

Hebrews 8:2 A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.

Notably God our Father is not a man who should lie and die, but for the sake of the God shew God has a right hand man, our high priest, who's a minister of the sactuary and of the true tabernacle of false/true tabernacles pitched, which the Lord (God our Father) pitched... and that God is a pitcher who throws the greatest pitch of all, putting law out once and for all.

Hebrews 8:3 For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore [it is] of necessity that this man have somewhat also to offer.

Notably high priests offer (plural) gifts and (plural) sacrifices, so does "this man" of this/that only have some-what(?) of some/all to offer.

Hebrews 8:4 For if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests that offer gifts according to the law:

Notably (plural) priests, who are earthy, offer (plural) gifts according to the law, which is actually grace + law, since grace always "is" and law was "added".

Hebrews 8:5 Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, [that] thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.

The earthy priests serve unto the ex-ample and "shadow"(dark version) of heavenly things. The God who admonished Moses was law, for the God of all grace gives no place to Mt Sinai.

Hebrews 8:6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.

Notably "hath he" is allegorically a questionable thing many fail to question, whereas 'he hath' would be a statement... in which things are an allegory with tricky wording, so "take heed" is advised, even more earnest heed. Yet of twain, one seems to be "more excellent", mediator of  a "better" covenant of two covenants which the two sons of Abraham allegorically are in Gal 4. And of two covenants, the second and better one of twain is established on "better" promises.

Hebrews 8:7 For if that first [covenant] had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.

Ah, we finally get to the meat of the matter: law is faulty, not faultless like His Grace. So if law had been faultless, there wouldn't have been any need for the second of first/second law/grace. So to make things all right, of such left/right, he taketh away the first to establish the second.

Hebrews 8:8
For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:

Which of twain Gods finds fault with "them" of two Gods opposed about them in such (plural) things are an allegory? And since there is twain of everything to sort out in the God shew, it seems there are (plural) days to come in which the Lord will make a new covenant with plural houses, the house of Israel and the house of Judah. So, depending on which one we see as the Lord of law/grace, depends on which day of which house we end up in. I'll take the day of God in the house of Judah rather than the day of the Lord in the house of Israel.

Hebrews 8:9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.

Of covenants, the new is not according to the old, nor is I will according to will I; the point being grace is not according to law, for they are contrary things which cannot coexist any more than war and peace coexist.  Fault finding law found fault with them, whereas no fault grace void of law does not impute their trespasses unto them (see 2Cor 5:19). Faulty grace + law (which is as saved + destroyed) led them out of Egypt, then destroyed them after (see Jude 5) via the curse of the law, which demands everyone keep all the all the time, else all accursed. The POINT of all such allegorical things is grace + law is as life + death = dead end.

Hebrews 8: 10 For this [is] the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

Of this/that, we're talking "this", so we're talking law of law/grace, lie of lie/truth, house of Israel of Israel/ Judah houses. Having (plural) laws put into the mind suggests being law law, which is in the midst of Romans (Rom 8 of Rom 1-16) like two Gods in the midst of the seven last utterances, but no law at all at the end of Romans nor the end of Revelation(Uncovering). The use of the biblical  term "after those days" suggests an allegoric look at other Bible verses such as Jer 31:33; Lk 1:24; Acts 21:15; and Heb 10:16. The ministration Elizabeth's husband finished in Lk 1:23 was law, which is a ministration of condemnation and death in 2Cor 3.

Hebrews 8:11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.

Until we all get it: understanding, it seems we're all grounded; For it would not do for one to get it and another not get it, since a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump just like a little cancer can kill the whole body if not removed in time. So what was allegorically written: Gal 4:24, and aforetime, wasn't written for teaching, but rather written for y(our) "learning" (Romans 15:4).

Hebrews 8:12
For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

True merciful doesn't give place to unrighteousness nor sin nor iniquity of law, just as "the God of all grace" is the God of no law, just as that God of this/that Gods is all light and no darkness at all. Sin imputation plus cover up blessed, when uncovered, is impish and deadly; for when sin is finished it bringeth forth death: Jam 1:15, and law both source: Rom 5:13 and strength: 1Cor 15:56 of sin's deadly sting. Do not be fooled by "will I", the opposite of "I will". Whenever both are used together it's as grace + law, which is as life + death = a dead end. His grace has no such begin nor such deadly end. God never saw good + evil in the first place, only "good" x 6 in Gen 1, and "very good" 7th time. True love isn't blind. Ignorance isn't bliss.

Hebrews 8:13  In that he saith, A new [covenant], he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old [is] ready to vanish away.

In that, of this/that, he saith a new of old/new, making the first of first/second old of old/new. And of then/now, it is now that which decayeth and waxeth old which is ready to vanish. Indeed law had an expiry date, expired long ago, such spiritual food decayeth and waxeth old. And it's not only ready to vanish (poof goes the dragon), but it "shall vanish": 1Cor 13:8! Indeed there is no law at all, not even mention of it, in the conlusion of Hebrews or Revelation.
